Update on this little lady

I've received a couple of emails off Molly and the kittens and mum will be going to Hertfordshire when the kittens are big enough to travel, emails below and the second one is a step in the right direction so well done Hels in not ignoring this one

Quick update for you, sorry about the delay I've been spending all hours
trying to trap a local colony who are starving so killing their kits and
fighting badly between themselves :-( I know I still have more to catch...

When I eventually got hold of the woman she said that a lady from
Hertfordshire is taking them as soon as they are old enough to be moved.
Fingers crossed it's to someone ok, do you have any ideas who it might be?

I made her take my number so if there's any problem with the new home she
can get in touch. I will call her back in a few days time to suggest she
makes sure they've been moved by the time they're 3 weeks old. Don't want
her getting attached to the cute kits and not letting her go...

We can but try our best! xxx

Second email which I'm chuffed about

Result!
Just had a text from the woman, got a second heavily preggers cat apparently
so can I take it? I said yes and will talk to her tomorrow. Dashing off to
fundraising event ('The Fur Ball'!) but so pleased that's another female out
of the breeding system that I had to email! xxx

I've received another email off Molly from Feline care and she's going to try and persuade them to part with mum and babies. I will keep you posted as to what happens, she quite used to dealing with all sorts so hopefully she'll get through to them

Watching the miracle of birth and seeing those tiny ickle bitty kitties suckling nicely at the milk bar is a novelty for these people right now. Give it a month and the babes will be under their feet, crying all the time and pooping everywhere... oh, yes, they'll be back.

So they are willing to move her hours before birth but not after

the house move obviously isnt so important any more

Okay, I'm going to have to surrender this one...

Mr 'Preloved' doesn't want to move the young cat and her two kittens, I tried to persuade him to take her to the rescue, but he didn't feel happy doing that yet. I did say the rescue could only keep the space open today/tomorrow. It's a real shame, but they do seem caring... if somewhat misguided.

I don't think there is anything else I can really do.

This is turning into a bit of a nightmare... the rescue lady has just mailed me, she's becoming (quite understandably) exasperated by this woman and will only keep the space available for today only, as she has others waiting to come in. I'll try and get hold of her again.

Carole from Crescent Cat Rescue says the lady rang her & arranged to bring the cat in, but hasn't as yet turned up - maybe she feels she can't move her now she's given birth?

Hi Hels,

I spoke to the guy on the phone yesterday and he said they would ring the rescue themselves - just to be on the safe side, I emailed the details to his OH too and she replied with thanks again.

Emailed the rescue a little while ago to see if they had got in contact, not had a response as yet.

Maybe Dawn better keep her contact in the pipeline!

Hope peeps don't mind me stepping in on this one - it just it used to be my 'neck of the woods'.

Crescent Cat Rescue in Thorpe-le-soken (5 miles away!) can take this cat, I've just rung the advertiser who will be getting in contact with the rescue direct - they sounded very pleasant & genuinely grateful.

I'll follow it up with the rescue lady just to make sure and let you know when cat is safe & sound.

I was looking through preloved at work today, just looking to give people advice if i can and things like that and i saw this

it's someone giving away their pregnant cat and i cant help but perhaps there's someone here who can?
