Yes I phoned her up and spoke to her. Aparantly she lost one a month ago as well (though she'd had her for over 2 years)!.
I suggested to her that she thought about getting a house rabbit instead.

She told me the goldfish hadn't done a runner yet.....

The one she had last week was a stray cat that we had not been able to take in. I told the woman that this lady was looking for a cat, to use her common sense about the house. The group paid for the cat to have an MOT before the exchange took place.....

I was worried that there was something malicious going on, I think now it is stupidity, though if anyone wants to help it might not be such a bad idea to check it a bit further. I'd hate to think something sinister was happening to these cats....... I'm sure placing a wanted for a cat will get quie a good response the way things are around here, it would be interesting for someone to contact her and see what she has to say to another person offering a cat. An address would also be good (and then of course the excuse not to give her the cat!).

Anyone fancy it?

So she lost the cat after a day and advertised for another straight away?  >:(

Sounds a bit odd Angie, I cant help out though I'm afraid.
A cat is a free spirit who will come to you for affection, but only on her terms. The quicker a devoted owner understands this the faster harmony will resume.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
