Well as there doesn't seem to be much action in the cat rescue and fostering dept at the moment - lady still trying to get us some ferals for long term fostering but hasn't caught them yet

I just cannot understand it, we are working flat out in every aspect of cat rescue, of we had a home waiting for true ferals we would be trapping day and night. We have 12 traps and they are in co0nstant us and we always need loving homes for them even if only temporary until we can find a stables etc

Congrats on the homechecking...  Glad to see someone is benefiting from your experience, hope they can catch those ferals soon so they can live in the lap of luxury like your others!

Good luck with the job hunt too.

Well as there doesn't seem to be much action in the cat rescue and fostering dept at the moment - lady still trying to get us some ferals for long term fostering but hasn't caught them yet and being actively jobseeking currently decided to try and help a dog rescue out and lo and behold off to do my first homecheck for Wiccaways Border Collie Rescue on Monday.

Wiccaweys is based in Warwickshire so being so far away has worked and am off to see a lovely family who want a rescue dog - may try and talk them a cat but this time its doggie welfare so am quite looking forward to doing some rescue work even if its not our usual bag but having a Border Collie should help!

Will keep you posted on the cat front but it seems there may be another homecheck for a dog in the offing.
