Surely we all find our own cats beautiful to look at no matter what they look like?

If you do go for a Savannah or Bengal they would have to be indoor so only you would see them anyway.

I do like both of these cats and am dotty about the spots but I think a Somali or a Burmese would be wild looking cats for me. The Somali looks like a little Lion and the Burmese looks like a little Puma/ panther. Little big cats I love em.

Personally I prefer Bengals (nothing to do with the fact that we have got 3 ) I just think they are more striking to look at and from the Savannahs I have met i think the Benglies are a lot more outgoing.

Fredcat would have probably been classed as 'feral' when he adopted us , a more loving and affectionate cat you couldnt hope to find now!

Yeah I went spain and there was so many feral ones I wanted to help them but you know they just run off etc plus would have been carrying all sorts

A lot of ferals are nice healthy cats, people have this impression that they are unclean and are carrying all sorts of diseases, this so isn't true.  Also, as Ela has stated, they are not nasty, just frightened, you do however get the odd one that will attack as soon as look at you but a domestic cat can be just as naughty  ;)  I have a couple of Bengals, and I class them as nutters  :evillaugh:  Very naughty, always up to mischief but gorgeous with it  :Luv:  :Luv:

i want a really wild looking cat for some reason i just think they look really good and i like to be as close to wild nature as possible when it comes to my animals

Keep in mind that these cats cant safely go out and be "normal" the theft risk is huge. Indoor or with a cat run is what most decent breeders would require.

My friend has both a Bengal and Savannah. I'll see if I can find out from her the differences. I do know her Savannah is huge compared to her Bengal ... and her Bengly is a big cat.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

Tend to agree, cats don't generally hurt you unless they feel threatened or uncomfortable with a situation, thn they can lash out.

Bengal cats are high maintenance, I've been told.

There are no nasty cats, just frightend cats often let down by society and the 'they who must be obeyed type'
