Just remembered, I have a large dog crate if you might need one. In case you catch the kitty and need somewhere to put the poor mite.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

Thank you Den if you do not mind I might just ask for some help

No problem at all. I managed to sort out a very young stray kitten a couple of years ago who ended up at mine every day for a week in the middle of a nasty winter .... got him a lovely new home and he's doing so well  :Luv:

No you cannot feed hedgies fish unfortunatly. As they are about most nights I would prefer to wait until day time

Thanks, daytime or evening would be better as I can keep an eye on it. I am very unhappy with over night.

Also :luck: :luck: :luck:

Once you have caught the cat have a towel handy to cover the trap over

Dont leave the trap unattended over night, well at anytime. Nasty people find trapped cats easy targets and also injuries can occur if a cat gets upset inside the trap.

Best bait is something very stinky, like pilchards in tomato sauce

Your hedgehogs wont mind a scrummy supper  :evillaugh:

I only set a trap for the first time in my life yesterday so not much help really  :shy:
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

I posted this here as I thought here were alot of us around.

Some of you will know I have had a poor little tabby who visits my garden who is very thin and scared.

I have contacted CP who are coming round in an hour with a trap.

They want me to put it out overnight but I am very worried about my hedgehogs and would prefer to wait until morning when it seems to visit.

Before The woman comes round has any one got any tips or advice

Thanks
