DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

Jake is a 11yr old, domestic short haired puss, he is black with one little smudge of white on his neck. He came into our care due to him supposely scrathing a little'un!

Jake has lived the last 11yrs in an flat and hasnt know the outdoors at all, we want to change that.

Since being in our care he has taken a while to settle, indeed he is quite timid and hasnt really shown his personality, but we have managed to stroke him, pick him up and give him fuss.

Jake doesnt look 11yrs old, he isnt overweight, his teeth and general health are really good. He has been neutered and has just started his vac course and has been chipped..

Jake needs a home without other cats and no dogs, perhaps a retired person homes or a home where there are adults only.. He does talk to you and does come out his pen to see whats going on, but when you first meet him he does hiss, but this is because he hasnt got his confidence back after loosing his home of the last 11yrs.. He is a clean puss, eats well and uses the litter tray no problem.

Jake needs a break, he has probably never known the outdoors but we would like to give him the opportunity to experience some fresh air and green grass.

Please think of Jake, when you are looking to adopt an older cat.

Jake is certainlty not "over the hill" in age terms, indeed he could just be starting a new life.

Jake is in the care of Canterbury & District CP, Kent. As with all CP branches we do homechecks and would need the co operation of your local CP or other welfare organisation in helping to homecheck any potential loving homes. Donations are always appreciated, as without donations to help with our finances we just wouldnt be able to exist.

For more information about Jake pls PM me or post here.

Thanks
