and of course no one has reminded you of the time I called BT to complain (once again) that my internet connection was not working - at all - and was sufficiently vehement that I managed to browbeat them into sending me a new home-hub. But ........ um......... only realised two days later that mine would work a lot better if I plugged it in and turned it on at the power point  :-[

Many many years ago I got BT out as phone not working. After brief investigation engineer announced katchoodthruit was causing the problem. Had to get him to repeat this technical term 3 times before penny dropped

I got my landlord to climb on the roof a few years ago because I was convinced our TV aerial had been disturbed by the wind.....turns out the lead had worked itself loose. :shy:

I did the same thing when I first moved in - kept hearing this bleep and because I'd just had sky installed I thought it was that and had them out to check it  :shy:

    EXACTLY the sort of thing I would do ... I once took my new mobile phone back to the shop and complained in the strongest terms about it keeping me awake all night with a loud repeated beep ... realised when I got home that the beeping was coming from the smoke alarm letting me know that the battery was dying  :-[

I thought one of the fluffs had the sniffles because I've heard one of them sneezing all day.  Checked them all and they all seemed ok.  :shify:

Anyway, I was in the kitchen before and it happened again but no fluff in sight - eh?!

Then I realised - its the new battery operated air freshener I bought yesterday  :shy: :evillaugh:
