Maddiesmum you are quite welcome! I love sharing pictures....any pictures...lol...my pets or my grandkids!

Since I am new to owning cats, I do have a question/problem that maybe some of you have had also, and can offer up some help?

When I take Hunter and Harley outside and have begun to trust them more and more, I will leave the patio sliding glass door open and I will sneak a peak at the television and watch a bit of a show while the kittens are roaming in the garden. Several times now they will catch a grasshoper or spider or lizard and will come running inside just as fast as their little legs can carry them. They then will dump the yucky bug on the floor and continue to bat it around until I get brave enough to toss it back outside! I wonder, will Hunter and Harley out grown this behavior some? Last night I found a spider in my bed and I'm not one to point fingers, but....I did blame the two silly kittens for putting it there! lol

lol Yes Pearl is still warming up to having the kittens around. It is funny though because Pearl does like Hunter better than Harley! Strange huh?

Thank you Gill. They are wonderful kittens! Hunter is the little lover boy, where as Harley is less affectionate until HE is ready for lap time and cuddles! lol

Thank you Bazsmum! I do brush them all the time ever since they were babies. They really enjoy it now that they have gotten used to it. I adopted them from a rescue shelter and they both came down with a really bad case of ringworm. They had lost patches of hair and looked awful. It took 6 weeks of oral and topical medications plus weekly baths with a special shampoo for fungal skin infections. So I really appreciate that you noticed how nice their coat are! I really do!

Hi everyone! I am fairly new to owning cats and have only had them since adopting my two kitty brothers since December 7, 2007. I thought I would like to start a home thread for my lot, Hunter and Harley to introduce them to you all and become more active in Purrs forum. Many of you have already helped me so much when my kittens were sick for so many months but now that they are completely heathly I wanted to share with you some of the good and fun things now. Hunter and Harley are now 6 months old.

Aw, the joys of being a cat owner.....

I do allow them to go outside with me in the garden and they love to catch bugs and lizards and discover new things. Today they discovered the hose and sprinkler! Oh and the plum tree too!
