Just been playing with my daughter, but she got tired and started ( uncharacteristically ) crying. My other young cat came running over to us as if to say ' What are you doing to ' our ' baby ! .

This is particularly nice to hear today after reading on yahoo answers about someone who had to declaw her cat because she had a young baby in the house  >:(

Some of you might remember my post a while back about how well we have all managed with our new baby girl and four indoor cats.
Well today our young tortie, who loves to sit on my knee while I'm playing with my daughter, reached a new level in her relationship with my daughter, we were sitting playing and Miss Tortie went up to my daughter and started washing her face, culminating in an ear wash. Yum !
