That's lovely - she looks so happy and settled already.

Had an update on Smokie earlier, and she sounds as if she's doing great and this is what makes it all worthwhile  :Luv:  :Luv:

Just a little update to late you know that smokie (who we've now named Poppy) has settled with us really well.  She was a little shy the first few days, but has now found her confident and is adorable!!!! She loves a fuss and has just started to jump up on our knee. We love her to bits!  She has made friends with Ellie, and they love chasing each other around the house.  She has also taken a shine to Dunc's tropical fish (i've attached some pics so you can see).  Thank you for letting us have her.

Just spoke to Teresa to see how Smokie is doing and she's fine, she's still a little nervous but has been enjoying having fusses and giving headbutts  :Luv:  :Luv:  She has been snuggled up in her new bed this afternoon and taking it all in her stride I think but she's eating well and seems to be quite happy with her new home  :briggin:  She is one I'm really chuffed about, she was one that was dumped and was really nervous for a while but she's turned into the most gorgeous, loving girl and I hope she'll have a long and happy future with her new mum and dad  :Luv2:  :Luv2:

This gorgeous girl has gone to her new home tonight, she was a little nervous but after about an hour I coaxed her out and she had some food.  I'm sure she'll settle into her new home just fine, and she's got a new play pal called Ellie who is approx 18 months  :Luv2:  :Luv2:

Just read the lady's email again and her father and brother in law are both vets   I wonder if they are local, and if they are, I just hope it's no one I've had bad dealings with in the past  :tired:

I've got a homecheck to do tomorrow for the gorgeous Smokie, I've really pleased for her as she is one of the lot I got from Ruthin that had been abandoned.  The lady already has another cat who's about 18 months old and Smokie hopefully will be the perfect companion for her  :Luv2:
