Bought some 100% pure canadian catnip cushions for when I got Leo & obviously he was too young to appreciate them. Now he is 6 months I thought Id buy some more... They came last night & he just sniffs them & walks away !!!!!

Do you think he will never be fussed at all if he hasnt been by now ?  My other cat Marley who lives with mum doesnt react either !!!!!
Just want to say Leo is gorgeous !

Ahh thanks Betsy.. I must addmit I am head over heels in  :Luv: with the little terror !

lots of cats don't do catnip - the present members of the household are actually the first I have ever owned who go bananas for it. Others have been take-it-or-leave-it.

Bilbo and Baggins only like certain kinds - the stuff that Wiggly Wagglers have in 'em is always a winner. Bilbo is trying to get a load in on the black market, he's seen the opportunity to make a killing off the local mogs  :shify:

Ooo, I'm so glad this topic came up. Before I brought Memphy home I got him a bottle of Kookamunga Catnip spray and a box of the dried leaves. Not too long after I sprayed some toys with the catnip but nothing happened. I didn't bother and thought maybe he's not interested or maybe he's not affected.

Last night for some reason I got out the Catnip box. I put some in a bag put in one of the mouseys (he doesn't play with. Well he was going absolutely nuts  when I was doing it, trying to pinch the bag. Then he was playing with the mouse for a good 30 minutes non stop, he was cuddling it, licking, biting, rolling around. I threw it and he kept bringing it back. Then he fell sleepy. Soon after he was trying to get to the box (which I had shoved between me and the side of the chair). The box now has teeth marks  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: he was really wedging himself down the chair with just a little wiggly bum sticking out. The box ended up back in the cupboard!!!! Then he fell asleep on his back with his head tipped back at a funny angle (I swear, he looked drunk!!!  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:).

So he's either a fruitcake by nature or it was the catnip.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

There you go ;)

The fussy ones are the best though, and Leo is so handsome anyway I believe you'll cope.
