On leaving the house I discovered the remnants of some vomit by the front door   Jaffa was mooching around there earlier so I think Mosi was sick there first and Jaffa ate it (aren't cats great? ) then he brought up the furball a bit later (which would account for the lack of food that accompanied it given that he'd just eaten).

Yay!  he's just vomited up a massive furball  ;D  He's only recently had his breakfast so it wasn't terribly pleasant but it was sausage shaped (usually he just vomits and there's some hair in there amongst the other stuff  ) so I think it was mostly fur.  It was abiout 5 inches long!  Well done, Mosi!  Lets hope that's all of it.

Pearl is quite discreet about the whole furball thing - never seen her bring any up, apart from the one she sicked up on my bed that was laced with the rancid remains of a mouse...

Toby on the other hand will hack them up wherever he pleases, often in places where one can't avoid stepping on them.

Cats, who would 'ave 'em.......  :-:  :evillaugh:

Bob wasn't fussy - it came out of either end, which ever was more convenient. You could tell when it came out the back end though as it was quite apparent in the remains in the tray

I think he must have got rid of it somehow/somewhere!  He scoffed all his supper tonight and then tried to muscle in on Jaffa's.  When i stopped him doing that, he went back to his empty dish and gave it another thorough licking in case he'd missed anything  ;D

This is really gross but a while ago, Clapton coughed up a furball on the garden path. Later there were slugs on it. I saw it a few days later and just the fur was left

That is quite possible  ;)  I was also concerned because Ollie occasionally has a fit of honking obviously stemmed from a furball, but I have never seen him coughing it up.
When I asked our vet about it he told me certain cats tend to let it go the other way and out with the poo.  So probably Mosi did the same thing!

I was rather hoping to come home to a pile of vomit (never thought I'd be saying that!) but there's no sign of vomited furballs.  He has eaten all his tea though and is now having snuggles with his meowmy.  Maybe he's passed something in the litter tray.

Poor little Mosi is under the weather at the moment :(  He's had some runny poos (I think it's the first time he's ever had runny poos) and has been off his food.  Being a cat with fluffy trousers, a fair bit of bum wiping by yours truly is having to take place after litter tray visits!   Otherwise he's his normal, loony self.  I think he has a furball as he was coughing the other day as though he had something stuck in his throat and he is a bit of a martyr to them.  He had some katalax last night (which he doesn't like so I have to smear it on his paw) and is having defurrum treats.  But please send 'pass that furball' vibes!  I don't mind which end it comes out of but we need it out!
