I hope that he recovers quickly and agree with Teresa about talking to the vet.

Misa had a reaction to the second half but I didnt have him fopr the first, so he doesnt get leukaemia any more nut he is 6 yrs olf now and an outdoor cat so should have immunity.

Sometimes the triple vaccine is a lot for a tiny kitten to contend with and they do have a reaction, also its impossible to say that kitten was not incubating something at the time of vaccination which would cause a reaction.Talk to the vet regarding your worries he may decide to do the leukemia one separately next time,though I must admit I rarely see a bad reaction on 2nd half. I have 21 first halves being done today and 1 2nd half and to be honest it is something I look forward to getting done.
Hope Milo is soon bouncing round again and running you ragged  :)

Hi :shy:

I took him to the vets yesterday, and his temp was 104. so the vet gave him a tiny dose of something like baby asprin.

he is going back today (this afternoon) he does feel cooler, still a bit wobbley when he walks.

he was playing in his bed, and is now back asleep. so I hope it will all start to wear off soon.

He had the vaccine that has everything in..FeLv flu etc.

He is supposed to go back in 3 weeks for the second lot, that is worrying me a little.

Hope Milo is feeling better now.

All cats react differently to their jabs - if he had the FeLV aswell this can sometimes make them feel poorly for a couple of days

So pleased you ahve adopted Milo and yes you are right as far as I know that usually if they are gonna feel low , its immediately after.

Give your vet a ring tomorrow and ask about this  :hug:

Hi :)

After feeling low after loosing snoopy,

I have adopted a kitten from the cats protection league...he is so sweet, we called him Milo.

On saturday I took him for his jabs (he had the full works) The vet did say he may seem off for a few days.

saturday & sunday he was bouncing around playing. But today he has been so sleepy & not himself. He has eaten all his meals

I just wanted to ask if this was normal I know i was told he would be a bit off, but i thought it would happen straight away.
