Ron, not sure how I can get a message to you but I had a message back from my friend Anja at Brighton Uni.  This sounds quite hopeful.  Fingers crossed that appeal worked in the end.

"Hi Chris,
Quite a few people answered my email - if not for keeps, then at least for fostering - so Ron should have had a few calls by now - just wanted to let you know.

Anja "
Best wishes, Chris, Samson, Buddie and Pepper

OH Ron what an absolute shame - the poor lads.

I so hope they find a REAL loving home,

It  :censored: angers me that people have a human baby and throw the fur baby out because of it. So the fur baby was a subsitute until they got what they wanted then cast aside like a piece of rubbish. Cats are living creatures too and feel pain and distress and sufer depression just like a human.

Good Luck Floyd & Ollie xxxxxxxx

I so hope something comes up for them soon.

Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for all the posts, hopefully something will come from this and we can help these poor guys. They've really been through it the last year and do deserve a good home! Thanks again!

Ron

I've sent it to a friend that lectures at Brighton Uni and asked her to spread the word.  Perhaps something comes of that.

and yes, I think it should be a 'Sticky'

Should this be a sticky? as its getting pushed down.

Oh no  :'( they look like gorgeous babies, that is so heartbreaking.

I really have zero respect for people who only see cats as a temporary solution until a baby comes along  >:( >:(

Good luck with these boys

Why didn't they think about that before they took the cats on?

LostCatsBrighton in need of Urgent Help
« Reply #1 on: September 26, 2007, 22:47:10 PM »
Hi Everyone, Ron here at LostCatsBrighton and I’m hoping someone out there might be
able to help with a desperate situation that’s come up suddenly.  About 3 months ago I
had a lovely couple of cats called Olly and Floyd who I managed to rehome after
spending more that 6 months in my pen. Sadly, just after rehoming them, Floyd was run
over by a car and was seriously injured but thanks to the great work of the vet he
managed to make a full recovery. I thought that all was well until I received word that the
couple who took them in are now having a baby and won’t be able to care for them any
more! I think it would be awful to have to put them back in the pen after all this time and
I’m hoping that someone out there could take them in for me or at least foster them until I
can find them a new home. Of course I’ll take care of any vets bills while they’re
fostered. It must be said that they weren’t very happy in the pen and it would break my
heart to have to keep them there again.  Please, Please if anyone can help them out I
would REALLY appreciate it.  Thanks for reading and please call me on 01273 422721 if
you think you can help. Thank You!
