Scruffy will quite often sleep on my knee and snore. She is the first cat I heard snore and initially I thought she was seriosly ill ! Now I know what it is I find it very relaxing :Luv:

The snoring is lovely, but the 'wind' that usually comes from Tilly at the same time is really...  :evillaugh:

Oh, that's nothing!!! When I tried madam Pearl on some garlic tablets a while back, the only thing I learnt about them was not to stand behind her when she farted...

I hate it - I always think kylie is gpoing to stop breathing so it scares me. I always favour the double-purr as a relaxant  :evillaugh:

Yes, a cat snoring is one of the most blood pressure-lowering sounds in the world.  Blip has a beautiful little snore  :Luv:

It can be quite disconcerting when you first hear it at 3:00 am. The first time I heard is was when I woke out of a sound sleep to the sounds of heavy breathing in my bedroom - every spinster's nightmare (or fantasy, depending on your preference). I was quite relieved when I found it was the cat. Phew!! But yes, now I know they do it, it is a very satisfying sound as it means they are so confident of their safety they can sleep deeply... :Luv:

Jaffa loves it when I have a lazy day and get up in the morning to feed him then go back to bed.  He will happily lie snuggled up to me all day.

I am ashamed to say I stayed in bed..........all day. And Lexy slept next to me for most of it.

The snoring... bliss  :Luv:

And why is it that people snoring drives me mad, but I love the sound of a cat snoring?

It was kitty tea time here about 2 hours ago, followed by a spot of play (Mosi insists on play after eating!) then hair brushing, nail clipping and teeth cleaning (followed by a treat for being good boys).  I now have Jaffa snoring on my his bed and Mosi snoozing in the hall.  Oh, and a glass of wine in my hand  ;D  It doesn't get much better than this!
