Caller:   Do you have any room for my kitten?
Me:       Where do you live?
Caller:  Sheffield.
Me:       I am sorry we cannot deal with Sheffield, I will give you a number of someone who can give you all the rescues in Sheffield, but I do expect the all have lists of cats waiting to come in. I then just said how old is the kitten.
Caller:  4 or 5 weeks old
Me:       It should not have left its mum till it’s at least 8 or 9 weeks old.
Caller:  I had it when it was 8 weeks old.
Me:       Well it has to be more than 4 or 5 weeks old then
Caller:   Oh has it.
And do it went on.
