Thank goodness for that - I was a bit puzzled by his refusal of a place before, but glad it seems to be sorted out one way or another.

Just received this email off Jane.......hopefully it has been sorted so thanks guys for all your concern over this little one

"All a bit odd I'm afraid; a good home was arranged with someone who works at
another rescue centre not too far away but they were told by the "owner" he
had found a home for Scamp so I left messages on his a/phone pretending I
didn't know about the home offered, just to see if he would tell me more,
but he's never returned my calls.  Just have to hope the cat is OK but he
did seem genuine.  Jane"

I may know of someone that may be able to take him on if he is still looking for a home. I did a home check recently for a couple that were looking for an indoor cat but our branch of CP do not have a suitable one at the moment so he might be just right!

That would be brilliant, I'm waiting to hear back and as soon as I know, I will let you know.

Thanks to everyone else that's been trying to sort this poor cat out, it's hard trying to keep up with everything at the moment  :tired:  If anyone can help and I don't respond on the thread, could you please send me a quick pm so I see it as I don't always get chance to catch up on the posts,

I feel bad not getting involved here as its just up the road but sorry no can do. Have no room and I think I've just offered to take in a family of 6 cats (from 2 years old - 3 at 4 weeks)

I ended up getting into the loop on this one.

I have just recieved an email from Colin - our fosterer whose pal was potentially looking for a new indoor puss. Colin says he has spoken to them and it's still too soon after their earlier loss to get a new cat.

Of course, they may change their minds once they've slept on it, but for now it's a no I'm afraid...  :(

It can't be long, Scamp. Your forever home it out there!  :Luv:

Hi Dawn a real longshot but one of our fosterers friends who lives not local to Kent has been looking for a indoor cat for a while, as she lives on busy road.. I will forward your email and see what she says.. A middle aged couple I think, no other animals.. A long shot but I love white pussy cats!

Me too! Hope this works out for Scamp.

SCAMP - URGENT IN NUNEATON AREA
« Reply #1 on: July 26, 2007, 22:40:34 PM »
Scamp is a deaf pure white 6 yr old cat in urgent need of a home; is there anyone in
the Nuneaton area who could take him in even if it is just a temporary arrangement?

Scamp is in a car at the moment because his "owner" has had to leave his home
because of a marriage break-up, his wife has gone into rented accommodation and
can't have the cat there and he has gone to Nuneaton to stay with a friend who has 2
dogs who chase cats.  He is desperate to find Scamp a good home and although someone
offered to take the cat, she explained that the only place she could possibly put
him is in an outdoor pen with several other cats and he decided he would go to
Nuneaton and try to find somewhere for Scamp there.

If anyone can help this poor babe, can they contact me asap catrescueflintshire@wfnuk.adsl24.co.uk

 :thanks:
