Alternative to the Elizabethan collar
« Reply #1 on: June 07, 2007, 17:12:57 PM »
BiteNot collars are the worldwide leading alternative to the Elizabethan collar. They allow complete peripheral vision for your dog and cat. Eating, drinking, sleeping, playing, and even sitting on laps can now be done safely and comfortably! Dogs and cats are calmer and happier -- and so are their owners.

BiteNot collars protect wounds and sutures on the back, rump, base of tail, flanks, chest, abdomen, genitals - even feet in many breeds!* They can be used for cervical stabilization and will protect urinary catheters on cats. Made of flexible plastic and foam, they are machine washable and are the only cervical restraint with a harness strap -- and that means our collars stay on!

*Not recommended for protecting eyes or ears.   - http://www.bitenot.com/cat.html

You can buy your much more comfortable Bitenot collar from here - http://bestpetshop.co.uk/detailed_product.asp?id=70101
