Am so pleased Archie has been given a clean bill of health.

Lyn, Moray positively swaggered when he read that.   ;)

Barley has brought two mouskies in, two nights running.  One is missing in action, and three have been set free in the garden.   :shify:

Beer.  Moray sez wuz definitely beer.

There was no blood when the ear was chopped so I suspect it was all dead tissue.  I was more horrified than he was.   :evillaugh:

Beer?

Seriously I was wondering the same thing, I would have been horrified and relieved in equal measure, I think. Poor Moray, it must have been a shock to him too, she would have had to cut living tissue to remove the necrotic.

Trust Archie to pick on feisty mouskie.   :innocent:

I remember when Moray was doing his Jonny Cash impersonation of "A Boy named Sue" (when the vet cut off a piece of his ear).  I found sudacrem worked absolute wonders.   :-:

A BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR WELL WISHES FROM ARCHIE AND ME

I HAVE JUST GIVEN HIM A DOSE OF LOXICOM AND HE WILL GET HIS ABS AT LUNCHTIME.

THE WOUND WAS A BIT OOZY LAST NIGHT BUT LOOKS CLEAN THIS MORNING. I WILL TRY GENTLY WIPING SOME SALT WATER OVER IT LATER.

HE CAME IN DAMP AT 2AM, STILL MOUSING :innocent: AND THEN STAYED FOR CUDDLES ALL NIGHT

HE LOOKS A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE WALKING DOWN STAIRS BUT AS I TYPE HE IS EATING HIS BREAKFAST.

IT IS THGE FIRST TIME HE HAS BEEN GIVEN LIQUID ABS WHICH IS GREAT AS CAN JUST POP IT IN FOOD ;D

POOR ARCHIE HAS A VERY BIG ABSCESS IN HIS LEFT 'ARM PIT' TOOK HIM TO VET EARLIER AS HIS EARS WERE HOT AND FELT A LUMP

MY VET TOOK HIM AWAY TO DRAIN AND FOUND TWO SMALL PUNCTURE WOUNDS MADE BY A MOUSE  THE ABSCESS IS VERY GUNKY AND HE HAS ABS AND PAIN RELIEF.

HAVE TO TAKE HIM BACK MONDAY FOR A CHECK UP AND HOPEFULLY HE WILL NOT NEED AN OP TO REMOVE IT :(
