I remember Cody very well back in the day when Purrs was in full swing. A lovely boy and I know Lynn adored him. So sad  :(

Please can you pass on my condolences Sam x

Of course I will Mark  :Luv2:

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

RIP Darling angel Cody  :Luv2:  Fabulous boy and remember him well :blow kiss: :blow kiss:

Lynn posted a pic one time of him sitting in the tumble dryer.  He looked like he had been put on the wrong cycle and his fur all went curly.  Such a very beautiful boy and taken far too soon

No problem Sue ... I was so shocked when I read the post.  Poor Lynn is heartbroken and Connor has lost his best mate x

Sam, thank you for sharing that with us.  I'm not on Facebook but like you and Liz and many others on here, I remember Cody very well.

My heart goes out to Lynn, for Cody was very much one of the family, and very much one of our Purrs Family too.

Bless the Codmeister.   May he cause mayhem and magic at the Bridge, just as he did here in his hoomans' hearts.

It is with a very heavy heart that I am re-posting this from Lynn's facebook.  Many of you will know Cody the curly coated LaPerm monster:

"This afternoon (14 April 2017) the most difficult decision was made and we have said goodbye to Cody ... he dominated our household for 11 years, a unique breed with marvellous red curls & easily the most handsome cat I've ever seen. Cody was like a younger sibling to the kids especially with his crazy antics in his younger years , he waited for connor each day to get home from the junior primary school classes & then was stuck to him for the duration until tea times, he has definitely been Connors best pal. We gave up on cat beds as he wasn't interested in them as he only slept under the duvets with the human of his choosing each night. A cat that detested other cats but adored the greyhounds & a fantastic cat for introducing hounds straight out of race kennels as he was so calm & laid back.
Cody also had many vices & made life tough at times but with my rose tinted glasses I'll remember him for the fantastic member of our family that he was & the cat who didn't discriminate with visitors knees , nor did he care if you even liked cats or not , if a visitor sat down their knee was his for the duration.

Just now we're devastated & We'll nurse very sad & sore hearts here for a long while but our curlywurly codster won't be forgotten
"

My heart goes out to Lynn and all the family at this terrible time.  RiP Cody  :'(
