I'm home and have the food and also the vouchers

I decided that the best bet might be to brave the town centre and hope I could get parked then go to the post office and hope they still had it. It was windy and raining this morning and I had to drive up and down the main street before I spied a parking space. After one failed attempt at reverse parking into a very small space (no doubt provided much amusement for fellow motorists) I got into another space but had to get out into the traffic and it takes a while to get my scooter out but I reckoned traffic would just have to wait. Thankfully it was at the post office so I'm glad I've got it but I feel a complaint to Parcelforce coming on here given they were supposed to send it to another post office by Tuesday and clearly have not even attempted that. Of course the sun is out now!

So finally I can say item received and lock the thread

Don't put money on it! Due to a complete

up by Parcelforce it will be at least another week before I can collect this. They were supposed to have transferred it to a different post office for collection yesterday but when I went this afternoon they didn't have it. Been on the phone to parcelforce and they haven't sent it anywhere. It's still where it was taken last week. The operator (not based in Manchester, bless him) told me it had changed locations from a to b - except they are one and the same post office

It will take 3 working days to get to where it should have been yesterday so hopefully I will be able to collect it one day next week but don't know when (and will be ringing the post office first to make sure before I have a wasted trip).

I've arranged for it to be delivered to another post office that I can access easier. I won't be able to collect it until Tuesday but it will be easier for me to go before or after work. The frustrating thing is I am going tomorrow to collect something from the royal mail depot/enquiry office which is next door to the post office where my parcel is. It opens at 6.30am however and the post office opens at 9am. I won't be going at 6.30am but I will be going early as I have to be elsewhere at 9am and parking will be impossible at that time anyway. I did ring the post office to see whether I could collect it from the enquiry office but they said no as it has to be scanned out. So I will be a few metres from my parcel tomorrow but unable to collect!

I'll get it eventually! The frustrating thing is I must have missed the delivery by minutes on wednesday as the time on the card is 4.30pm and I was home shortly after that.

Does the note allow you to request redelivery to a different address or safe place?

Slight problem as I have looked at the note left closer and it's not at the depot I thought - it's at the actual post office. The problem with that is it doesn't open til 9am (unlike the royal mail depot next door which opens at 6.30am) so can't go before work or early tomorrow to collect. So not sure when I'm going to be able to collect this and it may not be before Christmas. will keep the thread updated

I think delivery has been attempted today and this is at the depot awaiting collection. I won't be able to go until the weekend and want to wait anyway as I am expecting a few parcels over the next few days so would rather collect them all together. I will post confirmation when Ive received it. I had another 4 deliveries today! A neighbour intercepted one (3 parcels secured together) and left that outside my door but unfortunately was not around when this one came.

The courier collected this yesterday, it should be delivered some time tomorrow. I'm afraid I cannot post proof of collection as my comp and printer are not on good terms with other!

Susanne, the envelope with the vouchers is taped beneath the address label so please be careful when you open the parcel.
