When I lost my beloved Chivvy, at the age of 19, I swore I would never put myself through that pain again  :( I soon knew that I couldn't live without cats in my life/home though.

 I'm so sorry for your loss Tab, I remember Amber well.   :hug:  That feeling of being catless is one that only those who have shared their lives with these wonderful creatures can understand.  I hope that before too long you can open your heart and your home to another feline in need.

I don't know how many will remember ambercat but I had to say goodbye today. At the age of 19 she had something like a stroke that caused neurological problems so there wasn't any choice. I'm now cat less for the first time since 1997 and it's really hard
