think the xmas stockings have tried to come today. note through the door to say a parcel is at the depot to collect.

Got 6th stocking today

Dont know where I am going to put them yet and dont usually do anything much for the cats but have a number of new toys never opened

I want to get one of those beetle things with legs for Lupin but cant remember which thread the link was on..................hulp!

Alfs and Cleo will get something on Christmas Day but not much and they will have a nice variety of their usual food.

I have bought 4 of the baubles though, one each for Alf and Cleo, one each for Punky and Chivers, my bridge babies.

bless him, they do take it personally! I remember, 20 odd years ago people so don't jump on me, I had to work very hard getting oh to neuter bluto our little handreared feral oh had only had girls before that and felt terrible taking away the boys bits!

Honesetly, poor Beau, the vet was trying so hard to find them, Beau was wriggling and my OH was going "Could he be a girl?!"

The vet then went "Ohhh, well there's his penis!!" and "he's obviously a slow bloomer, but there's definitely a penis"

OH then said "but should he have tow veg by now?" with this sad look on his face

Got to be careful of their feelings. Its bad enough that my vet was comparing their "christmas baubles" on friday nights visit and commenting on how much smaller Beaus were

I'm fretting because when mine arrived, Beaus is slightly smaller than Chesters!

I've turned OH mad too, I showed him & he said "do you think Beau will notice?" And he wasn't kidding

I'm worse than you, I need to remind myself that when non cat loving colleagues ask how the kittens are, they're just being polite.
They don't actually want me to describe Chesters poo!

Yes we know lol and have just bought 6 stockings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have 5 today but the other will probably arrive tomorrow. All have the names and far too big for the tree but will hang some where

I still looking for the right tree for the kitchen because Lupin is so long and he likes to sleep on the pile of carpet tiles which are 50 x 50 cms! I want those tiles on the floor but cant do it until I get a tree.

I have ordered the stockings

They are both the same and both have red and green on them.

I had a conversation with a non catty friend at the weekend. It went something like this

Me: I'm trying to buy christmas stockings for the boys with their names on but can't find exactly what I'm looking for
Friend: - oh... (expression said "are you insane?")
Me: They need to have their stockings as they have a joint main present so this is for all the little toys and treats...
Friend: Erm, does Mosi not already have one then?
Me: well sort of - he's had various stockings in the past but he doesn't have one with his name on
Friend: well can't you just get one for Kito. Mosi won't know he doesn't have his name on his..

I mean, honestly - you lot understand, don't you? of course Mosi would know

but more importantly I would know. Can't be favouring one of my boys now can I?

This was after I'd told her how much I'd spent on a new cat tree for them plus a big zooplus order (big cos it included litter and some xmas pressies)

There's a sort of blank look you get when you talk to non cat people isn't there? I find myself in mid conversation then realise I'm not talking to you lot and other people are just not feeling the love.

They dont do all green nbut some have green tops but the site is not up todate and you need to ring them.

I won a couple of personalised stockings on on of the early Purrs auctions. I wish I could remember who made them. The names were sewn on with sequins.
