It's 5 years since I lost my beloved Chivers. I'm just starting to be able to remember him with a smile - sometimes. It's a long process but that just bears testament to how much love the spirit is capable of

Bonnie's on my screensaver on my phone and my computer, I thought about changing them but I haven't :Luv2:I use my phone as my alarm cos my clock was too loud for Bonnie. WhenI look at the pics on my phone sometimes I cry and go to sleep but other times I smile and go to sleep. Also I still wake up in the night and turn to give Bonnie a kiss and it's just an empty pillow next to mine

We just have to keep thinking what a wonderful time they had with us and us with them and keep smiling

We all understand and have been there sadly.

In time the good memorys take over mostly but it can take a long time and I now think of all the crazy wonderful things that Kocka used to do and how Napoleon and Misa used to rush for the same place by my head on the bed, with Ducha just slipping round the otherside to lie on my head.

I am so very sorry for your loss. You gave him the last great gift and let him fly free gently. He is at peace now and away from his pain. He has joined the great circle of life again but Frodo's soul stays in your heart forever.

There are so many nice words we can say to you but they are usually bloody useless at a time like this

However, cos most of us have had to do this horrible but kind thing we know what we say will comfort you when you are ready to read our thoughts.

Frodo will soon find Bonnie and lots of other Purrs cats that are now able to be comforted by each other.
