It seems our boys like the look of pizza. Beau was relentless with his begging for a slice of dominos as you can see from the photo. And when OH attempted to eat the leftover slices the next day, Chester decided to get in on the act

OH just sent me this photo. I assumed he was feeding them treats but apparently this is him attempting to eat a banana and some nuts for lunch

I've never known cats that beg like it. Eating anything in our household is quite the challenge nowadays

Beau sounds rather like my Alfie, who also just lies and waits for the undercover mowsie to come to him - or lies actually on the cover so that it can't move

My two like the catit circuit, but they seem to think I need to play with it alongside them. if I leave them on their own with it, they paw at it pathetically and wail at me until I get down on the floor with them. Which I do, obviously

God knows how long the undercover mouse will last. Chester has taken to flying at it and sliding accross the floor on it

And Beau is far too smart for it. He's sussed out that if he lies close to it, the mouse comes to him and he then just lays on it. Although he does enjoy "hiding" from it so it can't see him coming

He's not one for uneccesary exertion is my Beau. I suspect he thinks Chester is nuts with all his flying leaps and mad dashes around the house

Thought it was about time for some new photos and videos

I can't believe my monsters are 7 months old already. They have completely turned our world (and our house) upside down in the 5 months we've had them, but i honestly can't imagine life without them

They are such a constant source of joy.

As you can see from the videos, Chester is a fully fledged member of the Norty Club. I suspect Beau would like to be, but he doesn't get a chance because he's too busy watching Chester create carnage

My monsters are continuing to grow and while they’re getting bigger, so is the mischief!

Especially Chester. I’ve never known such a bonkers cat. He has boundless energy and EVERYTHING is to be explored. Beau still follows him around and attempts to copy him, but he’s just so much more cautious, and seems content to watch most of the time.

Curtains are Beaus thing, there isn’t a pair in my house he hasn’t climbed!

The latest is that Chester conquered the top of the fridge last night. He’s attempted it several times before without much luck, but on Monday night he finally realised he could easily get onto the cooker hood.

Last night he realised that from there he could access the previously uncharted territory on top of my fridge and cabinets.

He’s utterly delighted with himself. I’m less delighted, especially given the amount of paw prints I already have to remove from surfaces!

It's a very clever wee toy Gill. Andy bought me it as a joke years ago because I was so fascinated by my nieces furby

It's 'personality' develops in relation to how you treat it. Which meant OH turned ours evil at first by repeatedly pulling it's tail

It developed a deep shouty voice, farted & shouted all the time

Have never seen Furby before and thought it wqas my imagination that its ears moved

Mine would be terrified. I bought them a teddy bear but not loved at all and forgot what i bought Kocka butb she nwas terrified of the eyes.

Thank you, they turned out not too bad for being snapped on my phone!

We introduced the boys to a Furby last night. They were baffled by it.

It just shows how different their personalities are as Chester, despite being very wary, went straight in to investigate. Beau kept a safe distance as you can see from the second video.

He doesn’t need to be brave, he has bonkers Chester to do that

OH got some quick video on the phone. Unfortunately he missed Chester “killing” Furby 5 minutes later by repeatedly bashing it on the head with his paw

I already have childlocks believe it or not! Fridge and all the kitchen cabinets

Chester is far too skilled at opening cupboards
Know what you mean about retiring, I seriously grudge having to leave them to go to work!

I love it when people see him for the first time. Everyone comments on how beautiful he is and I'm like a proud mum

A few people have said they think he's part Maine Coone, the woman at the rescue I got him from was convinced his litter had Maine Coone in them. He's getting soooo big and growing rapidly. His paws are absolutely HUGE. I suspect he's going to be a very big lad

A few photos of my wonderful boys, and a wee video.

The monsters lived up to their nickname & had lots of fun at the weekend chasing my Valentines balloon all over the house.
Chester decided the top of the telly was a good place for catching it

He’s also completely obsessed with the bathroom sink now. If he’s downstairs and hears the bathroom door open he comes dashing upstairs at break neck speed to try and get to the tap.
I took a little video, I know I shouldn’t encourage it but it’s adorable watching him splash about.

He has so much character with so many funny little habits. Still loves riding around on my shoulder, which is very sweet, but is proving painful. He decided to climb me last night when all I was wearing was a t-shirt

We keep trying to get photos of it but they’re always blurry because he moves around so much

Beau is so quiet by comparison, he just watches Chesters antics and quietly tries to copy them.
But bring out Da Bird and he’s ferocious, such a little growler

It's a while since I looked on here for an update. fabulous to see the photos and vids, they have grown up so much! Great that they are such snugglebums too
