Yeap Auction time is fast approching and I be making lists of our sponsor items donated and poking business peeps to give us some goodies to auction  Fingers crossed they come through again as so many do for us every year thanks to our Sam and all her hard work.
And it is hard work  as I'm doing it this year so our Sam can have a break. 

We have a surprise this auction with brand new auction section that we (me and Chappie) are working on to have pics etc and we will be putting up a trial of it to make sure it all goes (and works) smoothly for the big two weeks    So this should be up for you to have a test at within the week   

Auction this year will run Sunday 16th Nov to Sunday 30th Nov and it's for a super rescue (well they all are) of which I will be annoucing soon.

I will be putting up ususal "How to" and "what it's about" in next couple of weeks under our fundraing section

Hollycat, it's really good fun - a bit of madness and mayhem -  really good auction items and fundraising at the same time.  It really puts us all in a great mood for the approaching Christmas festivities.

The great thing about Purrs is that it has some surprising elements.   On Alison's A Team thread, we decided we'd have a little party to celebrate Alison's success at kicking cancer's backside good and proper.  It took place on a fixed date, when we all gathered in the virtual chat room.   Everyone had a great time, it was hugely raucous, we all had our food and drinks of choice, and a great time was had by all.    Little things like distance never stop us from having a great time.   You up for a little spot of Auction Merriment?

Hollycat we have an auction once a year to raise funds for one of the rescues we support. It's great fun to take part in even if you don't end up winning, there are some determined bidders out their and it's always a bit of a lottery if you get the item you are after as everyone tries to time their final bid for the last second of the auction
