FIV can be passed to other cats but cant remember how and am sure we have info in the health section about it , so worth looking arou nd.

hey everyone. I have recently found out my beautiful baby Lucy has FIV the vet didn't really explain much other then he thinks she should be PTS. I dead set said no as she is still happy and still going strong. I also found out she has gingivitis. any advice and information would be great. also I read somewhere I should put her on a special diet but it didn't say what? thanks guys
