She has found a very good indoor home with an elderly gentleman who recently lost his cat to an illness. She seems to be settling in well in her new home. Thank you for your concern.

She has been on our Southport Lost and Found website as well as Facebook since 1st August and I have searched all of the lost websites but no luck. She has been coming around and being fed by our neighbour for at least four months so it appears that she has been a stray for quite a long time.

Good luck hope you manage to find somewhere for her. Have you put her details on petsearch etc might be worth a try, she could be a lost pet?

Thank you for the advice. I have put her on Catchat and a few other websites. I did contact my local rescue centres and one has more than 300 animals on their waiting list. I would prefer to find her a home on my own so that I can check where she will be living.

Have a look on catchat it it gives a list of rescues in your area. http://www.catchat.org/adoption/index.html

They will probably all be full so you will need to ask them to put her on their waiting list.

Lovely female cat living in dilapidated garage on building site in Southport.
Has been checked by vet and is a female cat about 4 years old and not microchipped.
Has been a stray for quite a while and the site where she is living will soon be demolished.
urgently needs a loving indoor home before winter starts.
