I love, black cats too, the only reason I had not wanted one was because of having to let two go to Rainbow bridge just before Christmas, weeks apart, and I thought it would be too painful to have another black one around the house so soon. My anxieties were unnecessary, Arthur is so different, and so 'in your face, I am here!'

But he is so sweet with Dottie and seems to understand she does not want to play, she almost gives him a look as if to say 'silly boy, I am resting and far too important to chase you'

I see no problems about people having black cats. Mines was the best cat for feeding. She would eat whatever cat food you gave her. Billy is a very different matter.

Finally, here is Arthur who was rescued from death row after being picked up as a stray in Tower Hamlets London. Had been adamant I was not getting another black cat so soon after Dillon, but how could I resist that face

He has settled really well and is ultra playful .
