Tamoxifen is such a brilliant drug, and I have two friends who were fine on Herceptin

Big apologies, everyone, for not posting here more...but, I'm back!

I've had chemo, surgery, radiotherapy and am now having a year of Herceptin and five years of Tamoxifen. I'm hoping that's all the surgery I need but I'm seeing a consultant tomorrow and I'm keeping everything crossed.

It's been the toughest year I've ever known but with your support and the love and support of my wonderful husband I've got through it.

And look...I have new boobs...wehey! They're called Bruce and Willis...

I've also changed my legal name to Rebecca...so many reasons for doing this and many for choosing Rebecca, although it sort of chose me.

Yasmin posted again today on her blog.

She's had a second breast reconstruction and looks utterly marvellous. Although there's still some pain and a while to go before her new breasts settle down, I'd like to raise a Purrs glass to her stoicism, the devotion of TB and wish her all the very best from her Purrs friends.

Way to go, Yasmin! We're very proud of you. Spanking Cancer is no mean feat but you're doing it girl!

Hoping you're feeling a lot better today.

If it helps gauge things, the bruising and swelling from my recent leg op has today become unfeeling - by which I mean I can't feel any pain or discomfort and all my nice purple bruises have disappeared. I even managed a short jog to the bus!

Lets see now, if the same applies to you, you should be opening your Advent Calendar with perfectly pink skin.
