The closest we had was about after 2-3 weeks.

Mind you the mum we trapped at the NEC we though was pregnant again and in the end wasn't. When she was spayed her bits were full of cysts, the vet was amazed she'd managed to get pregnant in the first place so it might just be something like that.

Picked up a stray queen today that someone was kindly feeding in her garden. The kittens are 6 weeks old and mum has a very rounded tummy with nipples glowing like beacons! I am not convinced it is worms and I am sure that I could feel kittens in there. I am aware that queens can call again quite quickly after birth, within a week sometimes. However having picked up loads of strays over the years some with 10 weekers with them, I have never come across a queen pregnant so early after giving birth. I reckon she is about 5 weeks, anyone else come across this?
