Love to Volunteer Newcastle Gateshead area!!

Hiya Ann i called CP today ref the adoption center, apparently its not going to be built till next year  :(  Ive also called CP Gateshead today Ann left my mobile nbr, so hopefully speak to you soon!  Will pm u aswell....

Does it need to be cats protection? What about the cat and dog shelter, I think there are a few others around newcastle too if you look online?

Or what about fostering?

Hi CJ, I'm the Co-ordinator for Gateshead CP. Just read your other post re the shelter etc, just to explain what the score is we are supposed to be getting an Adoption Centre in the North East which will be located in Gateshead. It's still at a very early stage though and they haven't even started building it yet so we're not holding our breath! That's completely separate from us as branches, we will still operate as separate branches even when it does open and have our own fosterers etc. The adoption centre will have paid employees whereas the branches are all volunteers.

Not sure what you are interested in doing as a volunteer but if you could PM me your details I could maybe give you a call and we could have a chat about things. It would be the weekend before I could call but I'd be happy to chat with you about it. I don't get on here too much at the moment as work is so busy so sorry I haven't spotted this before  ;D
