We have mum Yvonne.  It was really sad but we didn't find out about this case until the day after the kittens were born.  Paul drove straight there to get them but by the time he did 3 kittens were dead and Ali was barely hanging on.  We brought mum and his older sister of a year old away with us as the owner couldn't afford them and found that mum has absolutely no milk whatsoever.

Mum is doing fine but sadly ... unable to rear Ali.  We also think that mum lay on the 3 kittens so they could also have been suffocated to death.  3 little beauties and good size too... needlessly here and needlessly at Rainbow Bridge :'(    They have been buried in the remembrance garden beside Herbies siblings.

The wee man is still with us and fighting on bless his wee heart.  He is full of spirit and we just hope that is enough to see him through this to a long life ahead... each day that passes we hope is a step in the right direction for this wee scrap of a kitty..

Ali is still with us today and he is fighting on.  He has started to suckle and his bowels and bladder are now emptying regularly which is good as we were concerned he had a blockage.  He is taking a regular 2ml per feed and thus far seems to be stronger and a little perkier.  We know having been here dozens of times before that we can't rest until a few weeks are past but at the moment we are just pleased he is still with us and not being buried with his siblings today.

We have just taken in this wee fella who we have called Ali as he has such a fighting spirit and is the sole surviving kitten of a litter of 4 born 24 - 48 hrs ago.

Wee man is freezing, dehydrated and very very weak.... just hoping we got to him in time and he can keep fighting... please sending you positive thoughts for wee Ali if you can please?  :wish:
