Yes Tan it was all for the cats and hope we have helped many over the years.

I think this years auction was great fun and have never seen so many cats bidding LOL and the newbies and first timers added loads to the event with humour etc

The amount raised was incredible and I never thought we would make £1500 until I started on the Spread sheet at the end, then it reached £1600 and then £1700 and my mind was blown. Then all the little additions from the very kind and generous Purrs peeps made us go over £1800................took my breath away

Yes Mary then there are all the little questions and pms but we get there in the end and I have had a fantastic 7 years, loads of laughs behind the scenes and on the threads

You've done really well over the years and a lot of pressure at the time with ill cats etc. as well as us lot not taking any notice of the rules and wanting to know the total straight away when it is impossible for you to do it in a nano second

Gilly Ya been bloomin fantastic over the years. I hope ya know just how much i and we all appreciate all the work and dedication you have done hun.

Ys know who really benefits from it all ....... Its the cats, the cats that aint got no warm home on cold nights like this, the cats that are starvin, the cats that noone loves.. yet! It's them we do this for, it;'s them we help through the fantastic rescues who's dedication and love is tenfold.

So there's ya prize hun, There's all our prizes. We have just helped some more babes find warmth, love and care through the rescues and that is priceless

Watch out hunnies, i will be looking out for the next Auction team

Its time for me to hang up my scarf and hat and say goodbye to the auction and thank everyone over the last 7 years going back to Cat Chat for all the money that we have raised

Thank you to Tan for all the help and a wonderful idea that she had which has has benefitted so many cats

Time is catching me up and need to leave the auction in younger hands as it is so much work and I really cant cope with it anymore. I have enjoyed it tremenduasily over the years and I reckon we have raised over £12000 during that time

I hope that Purrs peeps will come together next year with a newish team to run the 2012 Auction where I will be a happy bidder, although I have a tear in my eye.

I hope you all have a great Christmas .
