You can't change the world by rescuing one cat, but for that one cat you are changing its world.

Jezebel, so good of you to post this - what a beautiful girl.

May I add a bit of local knowledge (I was born not far from there)

It's CARNFORTH, not Camforth.

Could you modify the header on your original post, please, so anyone searching gets the right spelling -you never know it might make all the difference to folk searching the net for their baby. Also there are only two vets in the immediate area, so worth popping the photos up in the surgery waiting rooms.

Thanks SR

I've modified the title ;)
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Beautiful and from the pictures she looks as though she has plenty of 'tortitude'  :)  Hope she is reunited with her owners soon.

This little tortie has turned up at the home of friends of mine, they think she's about seven months old.

They live in quite an isolated area (the nearest town is a mile away) and have asked around but no-one has reported a missing cat.

They've been feeding her but so far haven't managed to catch her - when they do, they'll take her to the vet to check for a microchip.
