Hi all,
Just to let you know this lady has a new home! One of the nurses found someone happy to have her, so it's fantastic news for this older lady. Many thanks for your replies.

Oh bless her :care:  Don't get me wrong I think the vets are wonderful for looking after her, after all they are running a business not an animal rescue, but it's so sad to see cats that should be cuddled up on a loving owners knee in vet pens so desperate to be loved and cuddled, especially at her time of life

I take it you've tried all the rescues in the area http://www.catchat.org/adoption/lincs.html

I'm back again, with yet another poor older lady desperately needing a home.
She was taken into the vets I used to work/still use in Grantham, Lincs, as a stray, and has been in there 3-weeks now. The RSPCA won't take her, and her time at the vets is almost up, with nowhere to go. I went in today to take some photos and see her, and she is an adorable lady indeed. She is very fussy/flirty/friendly, and apart from having some manky teeth (which came out easily without anaesthetic) she appears fine. She has an amazing coat, and is a leggy black girl. She was quite thin when she came in, but is gaining weight well.
She really does seem a dear lady who is in a kennel all day and balancing on the risk of being a PTS due to nowhere for her to go. Having Edna I am unable to take her to get her out of risk.
Any offers of foster/adoption/transport to safety much appreciated.
I have attached photos, but she was never still! She was trying to rub and fuss me constantly, hence the blurry and not-the-best pics.
Thanks in advance,
Liz xxx
