I always wrap my stuff up and take the packages to the post office and say I want to weigh but not send just yet and I write the price on each package then take them all back at end of auction.  Sometimes I have an odd stamp or 2 at home that I can use.

This year I've not had time and just guessed and if it's more for me it doesn't matter.

P&P is always the best estimate that the bidder pays, its not an amount that comes back to the auctioneer as the auction cant work like that.

Its always been like this since the very first auction ummmmmmm 6 years ago or is that 7!

Its clearly explained in the Auction instructions which is one of the first posts on the auction thread. There is even a guide to weights and costs.

The P&P goes into the auction final total which goes to the rescue.

Chatting & Questions about the auction 2011
« Reply #101 on: December 01, 2011, 09:03:02 AM »
Is that the best place to get them from hun :). I am going to get one for a cat that I am looking after outside. He is owned but not good owners :( he's not neutered and about 2 years old lovely boy but scared . They have a dig as well and he doesn't like to go home at all so is basically living rough :(  they won't hand him over to cp and keep saying they will get him done.

I put out my outside cat shed for him with a Cosy cave bed and he is in that a lot. But worried its getting colder so want to get a snuggle heat pad and those flackbed in auction things sound good too :)

I wondered if anyone had a heat pad they no longer use or want and I can bid for it in auction :)

Anyone got a snuggle heat pad fir micriwave they not using anymore ?

I have one Tan -but am using it for a little stay old lady, who is basically living in the little cat house on my drive. It is REALLY good stay warm for her all night.
She is in such a state the poor baby, but I cannot bring her in because of my 3, as you know they have no conntact with other cats just each other.

   If I thought he'd fetch in some cash I'd auction my OH for a day's slavery, but then who'd pay for the priviledge of hoovering around his feet and feeding him while he trawls e-bay and watches footie all week-end  :naughty:

The price I pay for his longsuffering of my cat habit I suppose...sigh  ;)

Please tell Bonnie I've got another box of dweemies for Sly - he mustn't know about the box on the auction (I've told him we can't afford it so he's bidding on something else just now with his pocket money) or he'll be impossible to live with  :innocent:

At last it's here again - doesn't seem like 2 minutes since the last one really.

I've put a few items on but I have more to come plus the item Pav bought off me last year and wanted me to keep and put on again this year on her behalf.

I see Sam has been her usual busy self getting donations - well done, no doubt there'll be more to come.

Good luck everyone - unless of course, I want the item you want  :evillaugh: ;)

Yayyy It's almost fun auction time folks  ;D :chicken:

Once 3pm hits the auction section will be open for item listing and bidding :) Some items are going up shortly but will be locked for bidding until the official 3pm start!  :evillaugh: and we hope to see lots of this  :duel: :handbags: :rub hands: going on  :evillaugh:

All the action will be in this board - http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/board,136.0.html

The Wonderful gang at Cov Cats Group rescue do such a wonderful job and care so much for many cats in need, the more we can raise for them the better...... Here comes my Sir Bob act back!!   ......The more we can list for auction for peeps to bid on , the more peeps see stuff they like and bid on em ... the more we make for the needy ones at Cov Cats  ;D :donate:

Times are hard for all of us so i want to thank yo so much all in advance for any amounts bided or items you can donate to the auction to help the cats that are not so lucky as our own.

If you have any questions on how to pop up auction items you have to auction or any other questions please don't hesitate to ask on this thread.

Happy Auctioning and Biding  ;D ;D ;D
