Got an email this morning:

Hi, thanks for all your help. Goose has just gone to a really good home who are a family of cat lovers.

Am hoping this is the case. Wishing Goose all the luck in the world in his new home.

Sorry, Shiroi-Neko

Shiroi-Neko, a couple of things. If you're interested can you PM me your vet details and let them know to expect a call? I don't help someone rehome a cat without doing this first. I also need an address to post the paperwork I use to ensure if anything doesn't work out, people know I'll either take the cat in myself or help find another home that's safe. I also ask for a small donation to be given to the cat rescue of your choice. I hope that's all OK.

Will message the current human now. :)

pm sending

That sounds very good, I am willing to pay for the petrol if some one can drive him to houslow,
Because I can't drive. And I don't know surrey. Is that possible?

There is a transport run at the weekend from Derbyshire to Surrey for Pingu the kitten in Matlock that JS also posted about.

End destination in surrey is not too far from you in Hounslow - could that be fate??  If it turns out that Goose is the one for you maybe the run could bring him down as well??

Hi just got the message a bout goose, he sounds a great companion, would he be ok with another cat?. One problem Derbyshire is a long way for me. And my husband has gone to Japan for 2 weeks.

Goose is a small, neutered ten month old tom who is very playful and energetic. He's also very affectionate and will sit and be stroked for hours if he's not in playing mode.
Goose was born deaf so is unable to go and play outside on his own but would be happy on a harness having a sniff around gardens.
He sleeps with a cow teddy hot water bottle at night and has a toy spider which he loves and tends to carry around all day. Goose has never been around other animals, but seems content to be around children. He likes people in general... :)

Am posting on behalf of Gooses current human.
