He sounds just like my cat Bazza (who's missing), apart from the age. Bazza would chase every cat he saw out of our garden and has even chased a couple of friends' dogs down the driveway in the past! Having said all that, he's the biggest softie in the world when he's with people he likes.

A pic would be good as people may be more likely to warm to him then.

I'm not really sure what else to do. He's on the special appeals page for Blackpool Cats in Care, on here and I've messaged people via the Facebook group. I really need a picture because I could put him on CC then.

Still pestering....Liz, if you have a minute can you email asking for one too? Maybe it'll work if we gang up on her. ;) (She's quite forgetful, I think it's because she's doing so many things at once.)

All I've been told is he's a tabby boy; but I don't know whether he's a brown or grey tabby. Am pestering Nicky for a picture. ;)

Mostly its my handrears and domestics that are thuggish in tendancy, the ferals all move about as one colony and adore the dogs in fact Panther and Sunny have an unhealthy relationship they are obsessed with each other and it does become a conversation stopper when this black cat runs to the dog for kisses and runs like hell from the humans in the house!

The kittens are all about 8 months old and are going through the teenage chaos causing mode but its so nice to see Turbo running riot aget his 2 week isolation haven't got the heart to caution him!

I hope she is sending him first class   - what colour is he!

Yep, know all about the status quo bit. Darwin is currently going through his "assertive" phase with the girls and making Sage very annoyed. Hoping he'll settle down a bit soon. Astryd and Carrie seem to be able to handle him better.

He's at "that age" I think.  :tired:

Nicky says she'll send him to you first class. ;) (I mentioned you in an email earlier.)

Having the land is the easy bit its getting a status quo when all the Clan are together from 5pm each evening till about 6am the following morning - they all have their spaces in the house and where they like to be and the groups who stay together and the ones who want a bit of peace - Cissy in the family room radiator bed and sweetie in the hall radiator bed are the ones who get quiet time - none of the younger ones would dare try anything with my older ladies!

Hey if you think that Billy will adapt to living in a group, then go for it. ;) I'd never dare try a "git" knowingly because Sage is really skitty and we don't have lots of land like you guys. :)

Haha! Feel free to contact Nicky, Liz. She's likely to not think it's a good idea because I'm informed he is an "utter git" with other cats.... :shy:

Sounds like a candidate for the Clan - they soon sort out the youngsters and put them in their place -  Once ours have learned we have "Top" cat Sweetie followed by our Bad Boy Bailey Wilson who has decided after some boughts that he is top boy cat on the outside yet he doesn't lift a paw on the inside unless someone tries to threaten his beloved Sweetie!

Me too. I definitely think he'd benefit from living somewhere that wasn't too "built up" though. After all, if he's a free roamer he'll wreak havoc with any neighbouring cats by the sound of things.

Billy needs a home - Blackpool Cats in Care (Uknown outcome)
« Reply #1 on: April 18, 2010, 10:35:36 AM »
Just received this:

"Billy is a tabby boy who is neutered and chipped. He is approximately 12 months old. He's a very dominant cat and can be bad tempered if he doesn't get his own way. Billy doesn't like being confined so needs to be able to come and go  preferably with a cat flap. He can't be homed with children due to his mood swings! He can be loving but only when he feels like it! He does like to sleep on the bed at night with you.
He is over confident and very cocky so he needs someone not to take his attitude. He walks around thinking he is king of the castle."

Pictures to follow....any brave volunteers? Just to clarify, this boy is an utter nightmare with other cats and the situation is fairly urgent as obviously Nickys fosterers all have other "charges..."
