I'm going to have to break out last years spreadsheet at this rate  Just plop each item down, update each bid and voila you automatically have a total spend  :)

of course you can, lol, there is not much information out there about Byzantine Thebes, so I am going to expand a bit and cover the power of silk!!! (I am not mad, but as a political tool, being in control of a very desirable commodity, of tightly controlling the import and export of the silk only to specific countries and the high quality silk itself was only really worn by very high up rulers and whatnot)
actually...I think I am mad, lol

You will be pleased to know I went through all the items and wrote down (well copied and pasted) everything I am bidding on! (Instead of working on my uni presentation on Byzantine Thebes  ) So I am officially organised!!! woop! Thanks for all the hard work!!!  :)

The only alternative to beans on toast I can make is cheese on toast , I am afraid

Or you could go through the 150 or so items and see what you have bid for and what if anything you are winning.......sigh

I remembber typing Feline at least twice last night and Dawn F a few times but I dont know how many Jo wrote LOL and there will be no list of bidders until the auction finishes........................so suggest you study all the replies to your posts very carefully and keep a record of what you bid on from now.......................I remember one feline bid that is definately a beans on toast bid lol and was £15 on the bed.

However I have only just got back so no clue what has happened today

I sat there a couple of days ago and read and found what I was bidding on and wrote down p&p plus what I had bid so at least I have a rough idea.

Well have managed to translate the knitting pattern into a crochet pattern so sorry guys you will be getting the finished item soon in the auction

When I checked my emails this morning saying threads had been replied to, I had 25! I am not bidding on that many items surely!!!!

I didn't even think of writing things down on a post-it, that would probably have been a good idea, rather than my daily mooch and 'oh I'll bid on that' system...

I am supposed to be doing xmas dinner for my mum this year round mine, do you think they would mind beans on toast?

Every morning when I look at my unread replies to my posts I nearly die! I seem to have bid on everything! I also have no idea what I'm winning etc so could have a few surprises come the end. Beans on toast for Christmas dinner? :evillaugh:

Sorry not posted before now but got a neck warmer half done must hasten for me then noticed there was a twist in it so had to undo the whole lot and start again.  Thankfully this time it is fine but think I will need it for going out if the snow comes tomorrow.

Tomorrow am going to try and redesign a knit pattern to crochet for a cat toy     That should be interesting  :lol2:
