Sorry to say that I am just off to pick up Dennis from the station so we can go to say goodbye to our lovely boy
I spoke to Craig, the vet in my break at college. He was doing an op but wanted to speak to me - I knew then it was bad news
- he said Clapton is severely anaemic (he wasn't when bloods were done last) - he gave him a bag of haemoglobin but it didn't help - apart from that, all his other numbers are off the scale and the nausea hasn't improved. He said it wouldn't be fair to keep him going as he will only get worse. All we can do is spare him some suffering
I feel sorry for Dennis having to sit on the train. I lost it at college and one of the girls gave me a cuddle. She went to tell the lecturer that I wouldn't be back today. I didn't hear her as I was leaving OH a message, but she came out of the lecture and called down to me that she understood
Anyway, not looking forward to this but we have no choice for Clapton's sake.
Ironically, the next slide had I gone back was pica and other behaviours.
