Yes, it's all on for me Shirley. Freya should be fine to leave as she has mum for milk and I will feed her before we go so she should be alright I'm told. REALLY looking forward to going I may just have to take my BIG handbag with me that easily holds a few kitties...LOL.

T says she is hoping to be able to stuff cats and kittens in everyones pockets and handbags so she can go around the world on the QE2

We are down South but on M40 so dont go near the M1, but I don't know how far you are from Kirst (maybe send her a PM) as I come off the M40 to pick her up on my way so you might be able to meet us there or maybe both Kirst and I could come to you, must admit it would be nice not having to drive ?, Kirst where are you ???

I've (hopefully!) got a couple of friends coming with me! She is a fosterer and, at the moment, has a mum and an almost 4 week old kitten. Sadly, the kitten's brother died last week-he was double the size of her too, so no reason for the tragedy (bad news all over the country!

) and mum has no milk left. Denise is desperately trying to wean her, but is struggling as she's never done it before! Fingers crossed that baby will be weaned in time (her hubby is driving us and bringing their son!) I've told them so much about Paws Inn they can't wait to see it!

I may have a home lined up for Sweetpea and Marigold

Dusty is gorgeous but needs work on how to behave like a lady around other animals.

We are opening our doors to supporters on Saturday 28th August 2010 between 11am and 4pm to share in a day of fun to raise much needed funds for the rescue.

Visitors will have a chance to meet some of the current residents at the Inn and learn more about the rescue work that we do and how the money raised will go to help many more cats in need.

The social will include a raffle plus cat gifts and toys etc and other fun games.

A delicious Paws Inn afternoon tea is included in the admission charge.

If you would like to visit then please email pawsinn@aol.com for contact details and directions.

Admission is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children (includes afternoon tea).

We look forward to seeing you on 28th!!

P.S This is also the day that Daisy Mac will be catnapping Kenny...so it is his going away party too!
