Did the operation go ahead this morning, Lucy?  How did it go?

Good luck for Neo today

Hopefully it is something benign. The liver regenerates so there is no reason he shouldn't be back to 100% health in a short time

I am sure Lucy will be missing him today, but luckily she won't have our concerns about the operation.  Bless her, give her some extra fuss and attention, which I know you will do.

I wonder if Pauline has heard if the other kitten has had any problems.  He was a kitten from another charity who we brought in to pair up with Lucy as we had an "odd" kitten and you wanted the two as company for each other.

We will all be thinking of you today.

My Neo is really not well he started not eating as much as normal 2 weeks ago but was only slightly noticable so didnt think much of it thought he had just eaten something a bit funny maybe? or just a little under weather? At weekend was cuddling him and realised that actually he really isnt him self and he feels lighter so we took him to vet yesterday morning expecting het to say he has an infection or something maybe? vet said she could feel a lump in his abdomen and did a bloodtest said blood test showed high white blood cells and very anaemic. We had to take him back today for a scan which showed a section of his liver with a growth and abnomal tissue liver is bumpy rather than smooth? we have got him an operation as soon as we can to see if we can remove the lump in the morning. I can not believe this could happen to our Neo he is only 16mths old. He went vets a month ago with Lucy for check uo and boosters and was fine vet didnt say anything. I will praying all night and tom that he will be ok as we love him very much and poor lucy seems a little down she keeps staying away from him? I have cried so much and this is such a shock as only went vets yesterday. :(
