They are lovely sam, you are right tho very similar but one has darker ears i think.

Helen Tonks were originally burmese & siamese crossed.

I think that's just the light Lynn.  They both have blue/grey pads  but one of them has one back foot that has pink pad .... but I can never remember which one it is!   Of course my Mum and Dad can tell them apart no trouble at all.

Helen,  Their Mum was a Burmese and Dad was a Siamese .... they are both tiny little things ... with BIG voices!

They very occasionally mooch round the garden just to make sure it's still there

They are gorgeous!

To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry, and as we say our long goodbyes, I nearly do.

They're gorgeous  :Luv: I scrolled up and saw the pics first rather than the words and was about to say that I'm not normally the biggest fan of siamese but how they were stunning, then I saw they were Tonkinese! Are Tonkinese a variation on Siamese then as they do have that look about them.

They don't look their age Ellie cuz they don't do anything!   They have got the art of relaxation well and truly sussed!  They get up at a sensible time every morning and have a bit of breakie.  Then if it's sunny they go and sit on the garden furniture and sunbathe, if it's cold they either curl up together in the radiator bed or snuggle up together in the conservatory in their mohair blanket (as in the pics below).  They very occasionally mooch round the garden just to make sure it's still there but they most certainly NEVER over exert themselves!

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Thought I'd introduce my Mum and Dad's two Tonkinese furbabes (Cloe and Lucy) ... they are 15 year old sisters and totally devoted to each other.  I still can't tell them apart
