I think she has a certain "Delilah" look about her.   :Luv:  Is she going to be joining Simba?  ;D

Thoughts on names please for a mostly dark tortie with brindle back and ginger and white chest and chin.
Ginny
Lavender
Strawberry
Matilda
Elsie
Agnes
Mojito
Cordelia
Delilah
You can see her here:
http://www.battersea.org.uk/applications/dynamic/?id=7898&
But she's only been named Cheese since Battersea took her in having been abandoned at a railway station.

An English teacher!  Have you found the In the Library section yet?

What age(s) do you teach?

I have now managed to change my avatar to be Simba as it seemed like an easier way of showing you what the boy looks like!  :Luv2:

I'm more than a little hopeless, I seem to have a really dominant right hand that gets carried away leaving my poor left on behind.  :pcprob:
OFF TO HAVE A QUICK - :nice cuppa:

Hee hee; Bod was named after Thomas Bodley, the original librarian of the Bodleian library in Oxford. If I'd have had a second cat then, it would have been Sheldon after the Sheldonian Theatre!

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  You have been warned  :evillaugh:

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

You need to be able to reduce them to 650 pixels on biggest side and usually that makes them within reight kbs....think there are instructions in this section at the top  :shify:

Okay, will try to upload Simba pics. One of him attacking a toy mouse yesterday (it was his official birthday being a year since we adopted him and we don't know his real dob) and another of what I swore we'd never do to him - let my daughter dress him up. He's soooo tolerant.  :Luv: Just been told the attachments are too big though . . .

Hi,
I'm a mummy to two humans, married to a recent cat convert. We have a five yo neutered boy whom we rescued a year ago - he's awesome, we called him Simba. The cat on my avatar is my first car, Bodley Boots, the most handsome boy ever.  ;)
KC x
