And this pretty little thing, has she had any vaccinations or health checks?  :innocent:

Are you plotting something, Sootyca? I do hope so.... :evillaugh: I'd love to see Sky in a Purrs home. (Mine mostly, but I don't think I'm going to win that one...)

Oh yes, she had to have a emgergancy C section due to being heavily pregnant and the kittens dead in side her :( She was very malnourished and under weight, weighing 3.1kg with 4 kittens full term inside her :( She has since recovered extremely well and gained 1.5kg in a week :) She is micro chipped and had 1st vaccine, due and booked in for her 2nd on the 11th march, she is also wormed and flead :)

Well I opened the crate thismorning and introduced her to my dogs on the bed. She isnt freaking but is very weary which is natural. Ive left the cage open for now whilst I am in so she can come and go. She has gone up to my kids room to investigate the mess up there  Tara my female staffie is being over excited with her wanting to play, probably because she is little so not going to let her have full run of house yet as it is making Sky a little un easy at the moment.

Checking out Theo

And the sink, all cats that come to me have a thing about my bathroom sink lol.

Leaving her cage open as a den for her

Oh. That's a bit confusing....is a foster home fairly urgent?

Not dire urgency no. She is crated at the moment and I will have to keep her crated at least 24hrs so she settles as I have 2 dogs and a cat myself, plus the bad temepered Theo here.

Ive put her in her crate with lots of toys, bed, litter tray etc.. and she headed straight for the food and is now asleep. It would be better if she had a foster home so she can have more one to one attention as I have lot here at the moment.

She is soo teeny bless her and so beautiful  :Luv2:

But she isn't going to try it? That's a shame, but I can understand it if she has her cats in a structured feeding regime. I always free feed dry in winter and cut down the amounts in summer.

Andrea, do you supply the food? If so, could you not suggest the food thing to the current fosterer? Would they be prepared to try it and see? I do think Sky is adorable.

FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR SKY (Homed)
« Reply #1 on: February 17, 2010, 22:20:30 PM »

Hi, unfortunatly the lovely little grey and white girl sky is needing a foster home. She is being returned tomorrow to me by her foster mum at the moment because she meowws too much and has started scratching at the wallpaper.

I do beleive this is because she needs feeding dry food with a contstant supply down for her rather than wet food as she is constantly hungry and wet food isnt filling her. She didnt meow constantly in her two emg foster homes, nor when she came to me direct.

Sky is a sweet little poppet of a girl as you will probably of read in her rehoming post on here  :Luv2:

I can hold her here with me direct but she is best in a foster home, esp since the bad tempered Theo is here.

If anyone can help by fostering The sweet little sky please pm me or email me andrea.cuthbert@btinternet.com Anyone wanting to foster will have to be home checked by us, even if you have recently been home checked and will have follow on updated checks every 4 weeks plus. You will have to work well with the rescue and stay in frequent contact with us on Skys updates.
