it must be so hard for you

whatever has happened to her, I'm sure she is not out in the cold though - she will have found some way of surviving by now - cats are very resourceful creatures

Molly is still missing and I still miss her every day. I just read of a cat being found after 4 months and it gave me a little hope but it's just so cold outside....... I just wish I had a conclusion one way or the other to what has happened to my darling girl  :(

Dont give up hope and keep looking

I must admit water butts worry me too and they should have lids on to stop cats or any other animals falling in

Thank you for all your replies. Unfortunately Molly hasn't turned up yet :( I am so, so sad. She and I are so close that I cannot help fearing the worst. Either she has come to harm or someone has taken her.

I am even suspecting my neighbours of some strange things. For instance one has 2 large water butts and I think what if she jumped in and couldn't get out and he discovered her and put her in the bin. I sometimes think I am going mad...........my neighbours are all nice and have been looking out for her. It's just torture not knowing what has happened to her. I am left with nothing. Her sister Katie who passed away 3 1/2 years ago was cremated and I have her remains which is important to me. I don't know how i'll cope if I never see Molly again. Ok , got to go, getting to upset again.

Thanks again.

Molly looks lovely and so sorry she is missing

This is where you read all the things you can do and after leafletting, door knoscking and getting peeps to check garages  and stuff is the next big thing, also going out late at night when its quite and calling her. This time of year cats can get shut in when people go on holiday.

Dont give up and we have had one cat who was found recently after 58 days.

Hope you find Molly soon

sorry to hear about Molly, the leafleting definately works, although there have been people who have had to do it two or three times to the same houses before getting any leads - good luck

Hello,

My dear kitty Molly aged 13 has not been seen since thursday night at around 1am. I am so worried about her. We have been out searching locally, put laminated posters up, posted flyers through everyone's door in our surrounding area and just today our local newspaper has said they will do a small piece with a picture on her disappearance. I have phoned the vet and local animal rescue and the cleansing dept who deal with roadkill.  I'm not sure what else to do. it's just awful not knowing where she could be. She is 13 and definately showing signs of ageing. It is so unlike her to wander, she normally stays close enough to home that i call on her and she comes running.

Any suggestions or support is much appreciated. I'm just so lost without her, she's my baby  :(

Leanne
