Well I think I'm in with a chance looking at the opposition, I wouldn't have thought anyone ever called Ghengis Kahn, Shane MacGowan, Frankenstein's Monster, Joseph Stalin, Vlad the Impaller or Rasputin "Cute" , well not to their faces anyway  ;D

Its just a bit of fun for goodness sake - and after all its all for a good cause, most peeps have said they'd donate the food to resuce if they win.  :)

Not for everyone it isn't. That is why it was asked for them to all be in one place instead of swamping everything else. But hey ho, I really am done with purrs for a couple of weeks until it's over and done with and back to normal. That way I don't have to be seen as a miserable moany person or be continually annoyed with something I'm finding OTT.

There are about 19 vote for me threads on purrs at the mo.

and rising - there could potentially be hundreds - see "how many cats do you have" thread - That's if you can find it  :shify:

I'm not opening the threads at all. The fact is there are so many it's hard to find any other threads which just get lost and for me there is a ton of scrolling, so my finger hurts.

And I am continually marking everything as read. It's only fun if you are interested in it. Personally speaking it's rather annoying now.  But hey ho someone just email me when purrs gets back to normal. I've been trying to catch up on things Ive missed lately and at the moment it's too difficult for me.

The sooner it's over the better  :tired:

I am going to avoid this section until it is.

Itsjust a litte fun, threads tend to be repeated anyway.  Besides, anyone who is finding it too much doesn't really need to open the threads  or simply go to General
Cat Chat and mark them all as read. It will all be over soon. One of ours just needs to win so a rescue gets some food ;)

There are about 19 vote for me threads on purrs at the mo. Sorry but I am finding it a bit much as well. Have to confess I am using my iPod at the moment which means it's a tiny screen, I have a ton of scrolling to get past the threads  :(

Sorry but I'm with Mark on this one.

No way! All Purrs cats would be on the thread  :)  As you say it's all just a bit of fun but don't wan't to upset people if the general consensus is to leave the threads as they are...

What about locking all the existing threads and I'll make a new one with all the links that have been posted so far (in alphabetical order)? That would be a lot less work than merging.  P.S Have changed the boys names to Aardvark one and Aardvark two - joke!  :evillaugh:

Hum maybe close the other threads and open one saying if posting for comp post your link here? Helen?

Instead of merging into one cos then I would be confused and links would also be muddled up.

If its optional nobody will want theirs in so it gets more exposure, lol

must admit to being grumpy too - I haven't voted for any of the cats on the threads purely because of all the threads being a bit much!

Yes you can do that Helen but leave Lyla's out, actually I dont think anyone will vote if they all get muddled up so no point in them being there really.

Mark stop being a grumpy ol' swine, and remebmber theres only one voting thread you need to keep up with  ;)

The only thing is that when you merge threads it puts the replies in time order so it would make no sense whatsoever but the links would still be there.  Doesn't bother me but what do others think?

It would be good if they could just be merged into the original competition thread to make sense and not be biased.
