I've had Alfie for just over a year and he's around 2 years old. I've never had any problems with him, never even seen him cough up a hairball.
On Saturday I took him to the vet for his annual check-up and his booster (think it's called Tricat - he doesn't get the leukaemia inoculation as he's indoor). According to the vet everything was fine and he got a clean bill of health.
Last night around 8pm he vomited twice and shortly after went into his litter tray and had a bout of diarrhea. He was probably as shocked as me because he's got a very steady stomach normally.
Anyway this morning he seemed much brighter and seemed quite hungry so I gave him a little of his favourite food. He's had maybe half a pouch today (this is less than normal). He's been to the toilet twice - diarrhea again.
I probably should mention he had one pouch of Tesco finest Chicken & Turkey (which he has had before but not recently). He didn't seem too taken with it at the time and I wonder if this is what has caused the upset? I realise it also might have been the trauma of going to the vet but he has been to this vet twice before and been absolutely fine.
I'll probably phone the vet tomorrow if he's not any better but wondered if I'm panicking unneccessarily and if anyone had advice?
Thanks
