Maybe Jeannie is just a little run down and the vets can help. Hoping that's the case.

MY JEANNIE
« Reply #1 on: November 10, 2008, 08:12:35 AM »
Almost 2 yrs ago my Jeannie went blind due to high blood pressure although right up to the minute it happened there were just no signs she had any problems. She also had a stroke at that time which left her a little weak on one said and sometimes her toes would roll under her leg. but she has managed remarkably well and continued to have a happy little life, although on Blood Pressure tabs, Fortekor, & Felimazole. When we were away a few weeks ago Julie had to take her to the vets as she found her panting one tea time and she had fluid round her heart. She rallied round again and seemed fine. But for the last couple of days I have looked at her and thought is she now having a quality of life as she is now moving around very little, her weak side seems weaker and she can only take a very few steps before she lays down.
I am now thinking am I keeping her here for me, so reluctantly in 20 mins or so I am going to ring the vets to make an appointment for a MOT and blood pressure check, (her next one is due next week), I am not sure I will be bringing her home with me later but I have to do whatever is in Jeannie's interest.
